Ju: How would you define yourself politically?
Jo: Left, socialist, democrat (at least until AI takes over).
Ju: What does "being left" mean to you?
Jo: It’s actually consolidating a paradox. Live and let live, but don’t let your neighbour suffer. So think about Thomas Sowell. When you read the beginning of Sowell’s Basic Economics, you have the feeling you have read this once before, in Karl Marx’s Capital. So I think you can be a capitalist and believe in just society. It even works to some extent in creating a worthy quality of life. The Problem is that the world in general is not a stable place. If you don’t use political instruments to help the weak or the unfortunate, there is going to be horrible suffering.
Ju: Do you identify with today’s left?
Jo: Yes. Because they are useless and impotent (politically… politically..), just like me.
In other words, they are too busy saving their own arse so they can post it on Instagram. Are the guys disrupting the G8 left? And the poor people of Myanmar? The Arab spring? The NIMBY people who are demonstrating against nuclear waste storage on German soil? Noam Chomsky?
Ju: Recently Facebook deleted a comment you wrote. What happened? And did it make you sad?
Jo: Some guy posted a weird Interview with a Spanish “scientist” about mRNA vaccinations. So I posted a response with a link to a scientific article. I actually think the Spanish article was blocked at first and my article was just hitching a ride to Facebook’s dark room of secrets. Sure it made me horribly sad. I cried!
Ju: If Mark Zuckerberg let you have one wish regarding Facebook that he would make come true what would it be?
Jo: Actually, I wouldn’t know. Facebook (as the whole internet) is only a mirror for society in general. If there is hate speech, racism and lies, it is only a representation of what different people think. The only difference is it feels anonymous. But whoever thinks he is anonymous on the Internet is very very wrong.
Ju: Do you have a question for me?
What is orange and sounds like a parrot?
Ju: That`s a gotcha question. I refuse to answer it.
A Carrot!
